Find a lost pet with a thermal drone
When a dog slips its leash or a cat doesn't come home, every hour matters. A thermal drone can scan fields, woods and neighborhoods from the air and pick out an animal's body heat — even in the dark, in brush, or in places you can't see into from the ground.
1. Enter your address
Use the search below and the map shows thermal drone pilots closest to where your pet was last seen, sorted by distance.
2. Call the pilot directly
Every listing has the pilot's phone or contact details. You deal with the pilot directly — no middleman, no booking fee from us.
3. Search while it's fresh
Thermal cameras work best in cooler parts of the day — early morning, evening and night — so many pilots can fly the same day you call.
What to know before you search
- Searching this directory is completely free. You pay the pilot you hire, and each pilot sets their own pricing for the job.
- Every listed pilot has agreed they hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Have the pet's last known location ready — the closer the starting point, the faster the search.
- Keep your own search going on the ground too: posters, neighbors, shelters and local lost-pet groups all work alongside a drone search.
Drone Pilots US connects you with independent pilots — we don't perform searches ourselves.
